Collaborations

Partners Asthma Center is committed to joining in collaborations that extend our work beyond the immediate reach of our medical practices. Members of our Asthma Center hold asthma specialty clinics at local neighborhood health centers; we participate in the Jamaica Plain Asthma Initiative and the Boston Asthma Initiative, we have a presence in the public housing outreach program of the Boston Public Health Commission; and join with the Boston Public Health Commission in developing an asthma home visit protocol. Most recently, under the leadership of Partners Asthma Center, a consortium of Asthma Center Directors from all of the major Boston teaching hospitals (plus Cambridge Health Alliance and Lahey Clinic) has come together, called the Boston Asthma Centers Coalition.
